He angitūtanga / The opportunity:

We are looking for a Fixed Term Full Time Chef to work at our Fonterra Site in Whareroa, Hawera. This is to cover Chef Manager's extended leave from 9th December 2024 to 7th February 2025. The role is rostered Monday to Friday.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

Preparing, cooking and serving quality meals for
Being able to cook within budget
Assisting with ordering and menu development
Ensuring the health and wellbeing of our customers through allergen and nutrition management
Catering for functions as required
Assisting with general kitchen and cleaning duties
He kōrero mōu / About you:

If you're our ideal candidate;

You will be hard working, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.
You will already have at least 2 years' experience working in a similar Chef role/environment and hold food safety certificates (Unit Standard 167 and 168) or be happy to be trained for one.
Most importantly, you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
