About the Company

Corrosion Control Engineering (A member of the Eptec Group) is Australasia’s largest corrosion prevention engineering company, utilising cathodic protection and material selection to protect buried or immersed metallic structures from corrosion.

CCE specialise in the use of cathodic protection to safeguard buried or immersed steel structures from corrosion including pipelines, wharves, jetties, storage tanks, and offshore assets.

We are currently seeking a recent graduate to join our CCE NZ team as a graduate engineer. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects across various sectors. You will also receive mentoring and training from our experienced senior engineers, who will help you develop your skills and grow your career.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct cathodic protection installation and testing projects.
Coordinate project procurement, installation, and commissioning.
Complete project installations and testing with CCE technicians and subcontractors.
Maintain client contact to ensure job schedules are maintained and information exchange is timely.
Follow established procedures for performing and inspecting critical work stages.
Undertake field work as required, including surveys, installations, testing, etc.
Complete scope of work described in project packages in its entirety.
Ensure quality data is obtained to avoid re-work on-site.
Requirements:

Recently graduated with an engineering degree in Electrical, Chemical, Material Science, Mechanical or similar.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.
Computer and software skills, including Microsoft Office.
A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites.
