We are looking for a Foreperson to join our Sealing Department. you will be responsible for the onsite operational delivery of sealing on various projects across the Taranaki region. This includes planning and managing labour, plant, materials, and subcontract resource to deliver the project works safely and efficiently. You will be highly motivated and organised and enjoy leading others to maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.

You will:

Plan, promote and maintain a safe work environment for employees, subbies, and the public
Complete and review documentation relevant to the role; daily job sheets, prestart inspections, plant usage sheets, quality checklists and hazard IDs
Understand and deliver works to the required quality and standards
Provide training and development to team members

We're looking for someone with:

Minimum class 5 licence, including WTR endorsements
Minimum of 5 years' experience chip sealing and pavements construction
Proven experience in leading crews
Previous plant experience in a construction environment
Ability to communicate clear expectations to your team and suppliers
Accountability for resources, including people management and supply allocation
A can-do attitude and the ability to problem solve
An unwavering commitment towards safety with a safety record to match
Creating, Connecting and caring for the community
