Great opportunity to work for a respected firm in New Plymouth. Our client is seeking a Senior (BAS) Accountant with 5+ years BAS experience.

The Role
In this BAS Accountant position, you will:

Prepare complex financial statements
Liaise with a portfolio of clients across a broad range of industries
Prepare tax returns and reconciliations
Meet with and develop client relationships
Note that this is a permanent position, which involves working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

What You Will Need
To be successful in this role, you will have a Bachelor's degree and the following experience:

5+ years of experience as a BAS Accountant in public practice - note that you must also currently be working as a BAS accountant in public practice
Extensive compliance experience/preparing annual financial statements etc
Strong Excel skills and practical experience with cloud accounting products
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
A strong client focus and experience with a range of clients
