2023/24 Season Briefing
The Noordam arrives in Taranaki on the 17th of December to mark the beginning of the 2023-2024 Cruise Season. This summer will see 7 ship arrivals visiting Port Taranaki. We want to make sure these guests see the very best that Taranaki has to offer and have a fantastic visitor experience.
Venture Taranaki and key Cruise stakeholders Port Taranaki, New Plymouth District Council and Ngāmotu (New Plymouth) isite team delivered a presentation as a guide for Taranaki tourism and retail businesses looking to offer product to the cruise shipping market.
The briefing outlined the scope and logistics of the season, as well as introduced the many opportunities to work with and access the cruise sector in Taranaki, as well as information on how to deliver shore experiences to passengers, who to work with, and how the cruise distribution system works.
