We brought our passion for pancakes from Antwerp, Belgium to New Plymouth, New Zealand over 20 years ago and have been perfecting our craft ever since.
We have a passion for high quality, consistent bakery products which look great and taste great every time.
Our founders, Ingrid and Marcel, immigrated to New Plymouth in 2000 and established Van Dyck Fine Foods. The company began making sweet crepes, but soon expanded to making hot cakes, pancakes, and even corn fritters. Today, the business primarily manufacturers pancakes, crepes and blinis.
Our products are shipped frozen from site, whilst maintaining a delicious, light and fluffy consistency once thawed. We use only the highest quality ingredients and export our products to Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, Pacific Island and ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) regions under private label and our own brand, Marcel's Pancakes.
Our customers are split between customers in the food service sector (restaurants, hotels, catering, aged care and even schools) and retail including major and independent supermarkets.
