Venture Taranaki is your Regional Business Partner
Venture Taranaki is part of the nationwide Regional Business Partner Network, which is made up of 14 partner agencies from throughout New Zealand including Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment (MBIE) and Callaghan Innovation.
Venture Taranaki is the regional partner for Taranaki, and our Enterprise Advisors can connect you with a range of support services, includeing Business Mentors, capability development training, and research & development programmes and services.
RBP Capability Development Fund
A Venture Taranaki Enterprise Advisor may also be able to provide you with a voucher to cover up to 50% of the cost of your training, through the RBP Capability Development Fund.
The Capability Development Fund can be put towards a wide range of enterprise training, including enterprise planning, marketing, finance, enterprise systems, staff management, governance, sustainability, lean business, enterprise operations and export development.
In order to be considered for voucher funding, your enterprise will need to meet these basic criteria:
• Operating with 50 or fewer FTEs.
• Be GST registered in New Zealand.
• Currently trading in a commercial environment. .
• Be privately owned or a Māori trust or incorporation or similar organisation managing Māori assets under multiple ownership.
• Be able to demonstrate both willingness and capacity to grow.
• Have undergone a business overview with a Venture Taranaki Enterprise Advisor.
Your Enterprise Advisor will be able to talk you through the criteria for voucher funding, and will generally be able to confirm whether your enterprise is eligible right from the outset, so you can plan your training budget.
